So What Is EFT Tapping?
It’s a holistic healing approach that combines traditional Chinese medicine with modern psychology. EFT addresses emotional distress by tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on the underlying issue. In other words it is similar to acupuncture without the needles. Doesn’t the thought of needles make one squirm? Well you don’t need to use needles with Tapping.
Here Are The Tapping Points:
1. Karate Chop Point (KC): This point is located on the fleshy part of the hand between the wrist and pinky finger. It is often used at the beginning of an EFT sequence to set a general intention for healing.
2. Top of Head (TH): Located at the crown of the head, this point is used to address a wide range of issues such as stress, anxiety, and limiting beliefs.
3. Beginning of Eyebrow (EB): Found at the inner edges of the eyebrows, this point helps release negative emotions and improve focus.
4. Side of Eye (SE): Located on the bony orbit at the outer edge of each eye, this point aids in letting go of resistance and self-sabotage.
5. Under Eye (UE): Beneath each eye on the orbital bone, this point addresses feelings of overwhelm and promotes relaxation.
6. Under Nose (UN): Positioned between the nose and upper lip, this point targets fear and boosts confidence.
7. Chin Point (CP): Below your bottom lip but above your chin, this point assists in alleviating guilt and self-criticism.
8. Collarbone Point (CB): Situated beneath each collarbone by about an inch down from its base, this point helps with feelings of being unsupported or overwhelmed.
9. Under Arm (UA): On your side torso about 4 inches below your armpit, this point releases emotional blockages related to past traumas.
By tapping on these specific meridian points while focusing on particular issues or affirmations, we can release negative emotions and reduce stress levels. And this helps tremendously when Tapping away at our anxiety because this will help us to better cope and manage our anxiety daily.
